Games
Games are the core of each console. Different people like different stuff, so I tried to find the most popular ones and categorize them.
- Local Multiplayer: Using split-screen to play. For cooperative games, they are sometimes called "couch co-op" / "couch koop".
- Party games: Could be mini games that don't need a lot of explanation. They are local multiplayer games, but ones that don't require a lot of learning. And ones that are quick to finish. For example, "It takes two" is an awesome local multiplayer game, but for sure nothing for parties.
Compatibility

Home Cinema: Blue Ray Player
Ultra-High Definition (UHD, aka 4K) Blue Ray Players are pretty expensive. XBOX Series X and Playstation 5 both have one.
According to blu-ray-rezensionen.net:
- It takes significantly longer until PS5 starts to play compared to a dedicated Blue Ray Player
- Playing 60fps with 4k Was no issue for the PS5.
- Video and Sound quality of the PS5 is good
According to 4kfilme.de, the Panasonic UB9000 is way better:
- Neither one has Dolby Vision or HDR10+
- Xbox has issues with 24p (skipping frames)

- Google Stadia: It was announced in 2022 that it will be shut down.
- Steam Machines: The last one was offered in 2018.
- Steam Deck: Same form factor as the switch, but way better specs. I'm uncertain about the available games + if you can even play it on a big screen. Pummel Party looks very fun though.
